Schedules
How Every and Over set the timing of a recurring buy, with examples, the first order and what happens to missed orders.
A schedule is two numbers. Every is the time between orders. Over is how many orders the plan makes. The amount you spend is split evenly across them, so changing either one changes the amount per order.
300 USDG split over 12 orders: 25 USDG every week.
- 300 USDG · every 1 week · over 12 orders
- 25 USDG per order, runs for 12 weeks
- 1,200 USDG · every 1 month · over 12 orders
- 100 USDG per order, runs for 12 months
- 0.1 ETH · every 1 day · over 30 orders
- About 0.0033 ETH per order, runs for 30 days
- 100 USDG · every 6 hours · over 20 orders
- 5 USDG per order, runs for 120 hours
- 40 USDG · every 1 week · over 10 orders
- 4 USDG per order: below the minimum. The button reads Minimum 5 USDG per order
The first order runs as soon as the plan is created: the keeper picks it up within about a minute. The next order runs one interval later, and so on. A month counts as 30 days.
If a plan is paused when an order is due, that order is skipped. It is not made up later. When you resume, an order runs right away and the schedule continues from that moment.
A plan also stops when Left in plan is less than one order. Its status becomes Ended (Out of funds). Add funds to keep it going.
