Terms of use
Who we are
The interface is operated by [Operator legal name] ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [contact email].
What the service does
Riprr lets you fund a plan in a smart contract (the "vault") and have a fixed amount of a token of your choice bought on a schedule. An automated operator (the "keeper") runs each due order by swapping through decentralized exchanges and sends the bought tokens to your wallet.
We do not hold your private keys. Your unspent balance is held by the vault under your plan, and only the wallet that created the plan can withdraw it. Withdrawals do not depend on the interface: you can call the contract directly.
Eligibility
You must be of legal age where you live and able to enter into these terms. You may not use the interface if you are subject to sanctions, or if using it, or holding the tokens you buy, is not allowed where you live. Robinhood stock tokens are not available in every country; checking that you may hold them is your responsibility.
Fees
Each executed order pays a fee, currently 0.30% of the order amount (0.15% for eligible token holders), taken in the token you pay with. The contract caps this fee at 1%. Swaps also pay the fees of the pools they route through. Creating, editing and withdrawing from a plan cost network gas, paid from your wallet. Current fees are shown before you confirm a plan and on the How it works page.
Orders and prices
Orders run on a best-effort basis, usually within minutes of being due. An order can be delayed or skipped, for example when there is no route, when the price is above your max price, when the network or the keeper is unavailable, or when the vault is paused. Skipped orders are not made up later. The price you get is the market price at execution, which can differ from the price shown when you created the plan. Each order is protected by a minimum output; if it cannot be met, the order reverts and nothing is spent.
Risks
Using the service involves risk, including the loss of everything you deposit. In particular:
- The smart contracts are not audited and may contain bugs.
- Token prices are volatile. Recurring buys do not protect against losses.
- Robinhood stock tokens give economic exposure to a stock. They are not shares, carry no shareholder rights, and depend on their issuer, which can restrict or pause transfers.
- Other tokens may have no backing at all, may be illiquid, or may be fraudulent.
- Robinhood Chain, its bridges, RPC providers, exchanges and routers are third-party systems outside our control.
- Transactions on a blockchain are final and cannot be reversed by us.
No advice
Nothing on the interface is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Market data, the simulator and the "deal of the day" are informational, may be wrong or delayed, and past prices do not predict future returns. You decide what to buy and you are responsible for your taxes.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your wallet, your keys and every transaction you sign. You agree not to misuse the interface, interfere with the contracts or the keeper, or use the service for unlawful purposes, including money laundering or sanctions evasion.
Changes, pauses and availability
We may change, suspend or stop the interface at any time. The vault owner can pause new plans and buys, change fees within the contract cap, and update the list of approved routers and input tokens. These actions cannot block withdrawals of your unspent balance.
Disclaimer and liability
The interface and the contracts are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of tokens or data, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Third-party services
The interface relies on third parties, including wallet providers and Privy for wallet connection, RPC providers, KyberSwap and decentralized exchanges for routing, and CoinGecko for market data. Their own terms apply to your use of them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do. Using the interface after an update means you accept the new terms.
