Max price
Set a ceiling on a recurring buy. Orders above it are skipped and nothing is spent.
A max price is a ceiling per token, set in the token you pay with. When an order is due and the price is above it, the order is skipped: nothing is spent, Left in plan stays the same and the plan waits for the next order.
Max price
- 1Add itOn the create card, click Add max price. It starts at today's price.
- 2Set your ceilingType the most you want to pay per token, in USDG (or ETH). The helper line shows today's price for reference.
- 3Change it laterOn the dashboard, click Edit on the plan and change Max price. Leave it empty for no limit.
A skipped order shows as Skipped in the plan's history. It does not count as one of your orders: a plan set for 12 orders still buys 12 times, it just takes longer. Skipped orders are not made up later.
Compared after the fee
The max price is compared with the price of the swap itself, after the 0.30% fee is taken from the order.
It also protects each order
The minimum an order must deliver is never lower than what your max price allows. If less would arrive, the order reverts. See How orders run.
Below today's price
A max price under today's price means the next orders will likely be skipped until the price comes down. The create card warns you with a yellow helper line.
